Disney Parks

Disney Parks

Been to Disney a few times around the world.

Here are some of my favorites about the different Disney parks I have been to.

Tips & Tricks for surviving Disney World in Orlando, Florida, USA.

  • Download and manage your trip with the My Disney Experience mobile app before you leave. Load your tickets, schedule FastPass+, book dinner reservations, monitor ride wait times, and more!

  • Parking is $25 per day.

  • Bring small bags or fanny packs to carry stuff. You can bring in your own water and food. Wearing a camel pack filled with water is the best way. Ice is not allowed in camel packs until after you enter the park.

  • October is a wonderful time to go, weather wise.

  • Don’t forget about Disney Springs - Downtown Disney. Free entry and parking. Outdoor open space full of trendy shops and restaurants.

  • Transportation:

    • Buses are free from Disney resorts to parks.

    • Trams are free from car to park entrance, shuttles are not free.

    • "Minnie" vans can be booked through Lyft. It can pick you up and take you anywhere on Disney property. Price used to be $25, but may have increased.

  • FastPass+:

    • Schedule them up to 60 days in advanced via My Disney Experience mobile app. For a single theme park per day, you can reserve up to 3 FastPass+ experiences.

    • If you cannot get a FastPass+ for a popular ride, go right before, during, or right after the firework show. Everyone is watching and the wait times reduce significantly.

    • Also keep checking the day your there. People’s plans are always changing.

  • Get a hopper pass if within budget. Then you can go to multiple parks on the same day.
